I did a search for Bakeys, and the spoons are being wholesaled through Alibaba, the Chinese global trade website. You can also connect directly with Bakeys as a reseller. So far, I haven't found Bakeys retailed in the USA. Yet.
The barrier to entry is small. You could buy the minimum 100 packs of 25 spoons off Alibaba for about $1,250 (possibly plus shipping). Then retail them on Amazon.com. You could probably start your business for as little as $2-3K. Or if you have the funding, go big!
For that matter, why aren't we making edible utensils here in the USA or Canada? Hmm? Seems like the market is ripe.
